Be Centred is all about Wellness and Well-being.

You may be wondering what all this talk of Well-being and Wellness is all about.

Well-being is all about your health, feeling happy, and prosperity.

Having good mental health, a sense of meaning/purpose, and having the ability to manage stress.

Improving your well-being is something that does not come easy to everyone, but we can all take small steps to gradually get to a positive state of Well-being (or being well).

Here are 5 Types of Well-being:

Emotional Well-being: The ability to practice stress management and relaxation techniques, being resilient, improving self-love, and creating emotions that leave you feeling good.

Physical Well-being: Improving your body by eating healthier and exercising.

Social Well-being: Communicating and developing meaningful relationships with others, this will help you to overcome any time of loneliness.

Workplace Well-being: Pursuing happiness, and enrichment professionally.

Societal Well-being: Participating in the community and different cultures.

It's important to remain realistic about the goals you wish to achieve.

We all struggle at times and we all have moments when we feel like giving up, I am definitely not an exception to this and have had my fair share of emotional and physical struggles, but I am also a firm believer that you have to use that as a fuel or motivation, to help you on your way.

The key is to keep pushing on and use every experience as an opportunity of learning. Also remember that like most things it will take a little time to get to where you want to be. Take your time and work at it, at your own pace. No pressure!

Remember!

Well-being is all about what YOU think and what YOU do, and as you're aware in life there are things that we have no control over, but maintaining a positive mindset will help to safeguard our well-being.

Thanks for popping by.

“Our greatest battles are against our own thoughts.

Your mind will often find comfort in negative thinking because it’s the easiest thing to do.

However, only a positive mind can give you a positive life.

Therefore, you must take control of your mind and encourage thoughts that lift you up.

Even if it requires a lot of patience, effort, and energy.”
